RESEARCH INTEREST
Verbal Subgroup Corresponding to a given Word
A group-word w is a non trivial element of a free group. Given a group G, one can imagine w as a function taking values in G, and the subgroup generated by all w-values is said the verbal subgroup corresponding to w and it is denoted by w(G).
Conjugacy Search Problem
Suppose that two elements x and y of a group G are conjugate, that is there exists an element g in G such that x^g = y. Find such a g.
One problem is to find an algorithmic solution for some class of groups.
